A Gateway for the community of Jacksonville and beyond!

It came in a dream.  The name and the ministry was placed on the heart of Pastor Carlton D. Jones as a way of reaching out to people in need; especially, those who are searching for meaning and purpose in their lives. Making this dream a reality for himself, his community and for God, Pastor Jones invited another renown pastor to join forces with him. Together with Pastor Walter Johnson, Pastor Jones opened the doors of Gateway to Heaven Christian Church (GTHCC) on Sunday, January 8, 2012.

God is Good! Through HIS grace and glory, GTHCC has increased its membership and expanded upon its ministries over the past two years. As a result, the church has moved from a 9,000 square-foot store front facility into a 13,000 square-foot building that will house not only the main sanctuary and fellowship hall, but also a christian learning center (Gateway to Heaven Christian Center (GTHCCenter)), and book store. In addition, as a part of its growth, the church has taken on an international scope.

Our role is to serve as a facilitator for churches and communities across waters and beyond borders, as they empower their members to do the missionary work of reaching the unchurched and leading them to Christ.
